New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today made a confident announcement that the Aam Admi Party will sweep at least 100 of 117 seats in Punjab. He also claimed that his party would end the on-going drug crisis in the state within a month.

"If AAP comes to power, it can curb and put an end to drugs business and mafias in Punjab within a month," said Kejriwal.

"If AAP comes to power, those behind the desecration of Quran & Guru Granth Sahib will be brought to justice," he added.

The Delhi CM is on a three-day visit to Punjab to garner support for the upcoming elections.

Meanwhile, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) asked Kejriwal "what had happened to the eight lakh jobs as well as a slew of other promises you have made to the youth of Delhi?"

Asking Kejriwal with what face he was approaching the youth of the state tomorrow, SAD secretary and spokesman Daljit Singh Cheema said, "It is better you come out with a factual report card tomorrow and explain what you have done for the youth of Delhi before releasing another fake document" under the name of 'youth manifesto'."

Alleging that Kejriwal was on a mission to "hoodwink" the youth of Punjab in the same manner in which he had "fooled" the Delhi youth, the SAD leader said "you will however never succeed in this con game as Punjabis have seen through you repeated lies and betrayals".
