A miffed External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Wednesday warned e-commerce giant Amazon to rescind visas of its officials after the company was found selling doormats featuring the Indian flag in Canada.

“Amazon must tender unconditional apology. They must withdraw all products insulting our national flag immediately. If this is not done forthwith, we will not grant Indian Visa to any Amazon official. We will also rescind the Visas issued earlier,” Swaraj said on Twitter after a user on micro-blogging website reported the matter to her.

She also referred the matter to Indian High Commission in Canada and said, "This is unacceptable. Please take this up with Amazon at the highest level.”

A user, who tweets with handle @atulbhobe, had written to the social media-savvy minister, “@SushmaSwaraj Madam. Amazon Canada must be censured and warned not to sell India flag doormats. Please take action.”

Amazon is yet react to the matter.
