  • Urmila Matondkar has joined Congress party and, she will be contesting the Lok Sabha election from the Mumbai North Lok Sabha constituency.

  • Veteran actress Kirron Kher is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. In May 2014, she was elected to the Lok Sabha, from Chandigarh.
