    Sunil Dutt and Nargis spent wholesome life with each other. The couple is still counted amongst the most classic pair of the golden cinema. Let us have a look at their rare pictures.

    It is being said that Sunil Dutt met Nargis for the first time at a Radio Station, where he worked as a radio jockey. The actress came there for an interview but, Sunil was left starstruck after looking at Nargis and did not utter a single word. Later, both met at the sets of ‘Do Bigha Zamim’

    According to the reports, the duo fell for each other while shooting for  ‘Mother India’. In the film, Sunil played the role of Nargi's son. During the shoot of the film, the set caught fire and left both actors injured. Nargis took good care of Sunil at that time and eventually after spending a good time with each other, they decided to tie the wedding knot in 1958.

    Sunil Dutt gave his wedding reception almost a year later in 1959 and made their relationship official in public. Later the couple was blessed with three children, Sanjay Dutt, Priya Dutt, and Namrata Dutt

    After many years of their marriage, Nargis suffered from cancer and left the world. And on May 25, 2005, Sunil Dutt also died because of heart attack. Remembering them on their anniversary, their daughter Priya shared a lovely picture wishing them happiness. In the caption, she wrote, “Together forever, even in death the love was alive till they met again on the other side. Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad #loveforever”

    Going down the memory lane, Sanjay Dutt shared a picture on Mother’s day and wrote, “Ma, you taught me all about hard work, patience, humility, kindness, forgiveness, understanding... and how to have fun along the way. Thank you will never be enough but, I'm thankful for having had you as my mother (sic) #HappyMothersDay to mine and all the Mothers out there.”

    Priya Dutt often shares throwback pictures of her parents for their fans. Alongside one such throwback picture, she wrote, “We pose for the family album outside the Parliament House, New Delhi. This photo shows the natural enthusiasm of a family, like any other family. Pleased to remember a great occasion with a photo as a keepsake.”
