Kundan Shah prayer meet: SRK, Farah Khan, David Dhawan bid adieu to Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa director (in pics)

  • Bollywood lost a gem on October 7, 2017 . Popular director Kundan Shah passed away in his sleep due to a heart attack. The prayer meet was held on Tuesday evening in Mumbai where celebs attended the ceremony to pay their last respect to the Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa filmmaker.

  • Shah Rukh Khan, who worked with Kundan Shah in Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, attended the prayer meet in a white kurta.

  • “It is one of the greatest losses of my life. I was 25 when I came to Mumbai, I have stayed in Kundan’s house, I have been fed by his family and taken care of by them. I remember when I was leaving Delhi, my theatre friends told me when you meet Kundan Shah, touch his feet and give him a hug. I am who I am not just because I have learnt from him, but because I have got so much from perhaps one of the greatest directors of our time in the Hindi TV and film industry", SRK said at the meet.

  • Choreographer and director Farah Khan, who hosts the show Lip Sing Battle, also paid her tribute to the filmmaker.

  • Naseerudin Shah and wife Ratna Pathak also arrived at Kundan Shah's residence to attend the prayer meet.

  • Veteran actor Satish Kaushik, who played one of lead actors in Kundan Shah's Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, was also clicked at the prayer meet.

  • Kundan Shah also made TV shows such as Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi, Nukkad and Wagle Ki Duniya.
