  • Newcomer Harshvardhan Kapoor has been the new eye-candy in tinselvile post the release of his debut Bollywood movie ‘Mirzya’. He was seen playing the lead role in Rakeysh Omprakah Mehra’s directorail which was based on the folklore of Mirza-Sahiba. Although the movie failed to set the box office on fire, the Kapoor lad did manage to bag the limelight with his eye-catching persona. Besides, he also shares the same dedication towards work like his father Anil Kapoor. Harshvardhan, who is touted as Anil’s son and Sonam’s brother so far, is ardent to carve a niche for himself in the industry.   • Harshvardhan never aspired to be an actor. Instead, he was more inclined to be behind the camera and wanted to be a director. In fact, he had also assisted Anurag Kashyap in his 2015 release ‘Bombay Velvet’.

  • Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra had offered ‘Mirzya’ to Harshvardhan during the shooting of ‘Delhi 6’ in 2009. Mehra had met Harsh on the sets as he accompanied his sister Sonam who was lead actress of ‘Delhi 6’.

  • Harsh has been a doting brother for both his sisters Sonam and Rhea. He even has their names tattooed on his back. However, in one of his interviews, the actor also confessed that he is more close to Rhea than Sonam.

  • Harshvardhan bagged his second project ‘Bhavesh Joshi’ before his debut movie ‘Mirzya’ had hit the screens. The newcomer was initially hesitant to do the movie considering himself too young for the role. Reportedly his role then went to Imran Khan and Sidharth Malhotra. However, fate has another another plans for Harsh and he was finally roped in for the movie by director Vikramaditya Motwane.
