Apple TV Plus: Hollywood biggies incuding Oprah Winfrey and Steven Spielberg launch TV shows

    Apple launched its very own streaming platform which goes by the name Apple TV +. The subscription is priced around $9.99 per month. Many TV shows are roped in to premiere exclusively on the platform. To talk about the show, many prominent celebrities including Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg and JJ Abrams took up the stage and talked about their upcoming TV shows. 

  • Amazing Stories: The Steven Spielberg show starring Kevin Costner, John Lithgow and Kiefer Sutherland featured from 1985-87. 

  • Content: Oprah Winfrey is all set to present two documentaries each of them targetted towards the issue of sexual harassment and mental health respectively. 

  • The Morning Show: Jennifer Anniston, Reese Witherspoon and Steve Carell will feature in a show which will take the audience to the behind-the-scene world of a morning show. 

  • Little America: The show will be based on the lives of immigrants in America.   

  • Little Voice: The show will chronicle the struggles of female artists who try to find themselves through music. 

  • See: The post-apocalyptic series featuring Jason Momoa and Alfre Woodard, revolves in a world struck by a deadly virus, which has only a few million left to live. 

  • Sesame Workshop: While Sesame Workshop has landed a deal with Apple, Sesame Street is not a part of it. 

  • Defending Jacob: The series will have Avengers fame Chris Evans in the lead role

  • The other TV shows are Dickinson, Are You Sleeping?, Untitled M Night Shyamalan series, Untitled Damien Chazelle series, Untitled Brie Larson series and Swagger
