Islamabad: Pakistan's terror mastermind Jamaat ud Dawa chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed's account on social networking site Twitter was suspended on Monday, local media reported.
"The profile you are trying to view has been suspended", says a message on his Twitter account.
Hafiz Saeed is among the five most wanted terrorists in the world.
Twitter maintains the right to suspend accounts for violation of its Rules or even for investigation if it is suspected that an account has been hacked.
However, it is not yet clear why Saeed's account was suspended and whether he has appealed yet or not.
The US has declared a bounty of $10 million dollars on Hafiz Saeed's head.
In 2009, the United Nations declared his group a terrorist outfit and placed sanctions against the outfit.
The JuD chief is the mastermind of the Mumbai attacks in 2008 which left at least 166 dead.
