New York, Jan 14: Subway passengers in New York made an unusual fashion statement on Sunday, boarding the city's trains wearing no trousers.



The stunt was part of the "No Pants Subway Ride".

What started a a bit of a prank has now become an annual event, taking place in other cities across America and around the world.

"We've been doing this for about 12 years now, we started off with apparently seven people, according to my friend Jesse over there," said Mathew Shafeek who was taking part in the event.
