Beijing, Jun 7: China today said there were “some minor differences” with India, but maintained that they will not disturb the working relationship and friendship between the two countries.

It also said that it will push forward the developmental aspirations with India and will handle “sensitive issues” very carefully keeping in mind the potential growth and economic relations between the two sides.

This was stated by Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi during his bilateral meeting with External Affairs Minister S M Krishna, who was here to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit.

China may have some minor differences with India but that will not disturb their working relationship and friendship, he told Krishna, according to official sources.

Strategic and cooperative partnership between India and China will enhance growth for both countries and is keenly watched by the world, Yang said.

He told Krishna that China will push forward the developmental aspirations with India and handle sensitive issues very carefully keeping in mind the potential growth and economic relations with India and that is the view of the leadership of the two countries, the sources said.
