Pak TV anchor Raza Rumi escapes militant attack, driver killed in Lahore

Lahore: In a daring attack, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan militants today fired at a a vehicle of Express TV's  senior TV anchor Raza Rumi, killing his driver. The attack took place near Gaddafi stadium. Raza Rumi posted



This is the fourth terror attack on Express Media Group. Three staff members of the group have lost their lives in an attack earlier this year.

A respected columnist, op-ed writer and journalist, Raza Rumi edits and regularly writes for  The Friday Times, Express Tribune and The News on diverse topics.

His book Delhi by Heart: Impressions of a Pakistani Traveller, published in 2013 is a sensitively written account of a Pakistani writer's discovery about Delhi, the capital of India.
