Real life Barbie Doll says interracial couples are behind a rise in plastic surgery

New Delhi: The real life Barbie doll, Valeria Lukyanova who is now known for her spiritual side, has claimed that interracial couples are behind a rise in plastic surgery because they are 'making the human race uglier'.Lukyanova, 28 who says that she never had a plastic surgery except breast implants, says Ethnicities are mixing now, so there's degeneration, and it didn't used to be like that.As reported by Daily Mail, the Ukranian model has praised the beautiful women in the 1950 and 60s who had a natural beauty and did not marry men belonging to other races. The outrageous racist remarks have sparked a controversy on the model turned spiritual instructor.The ‘Human Barbie' came into limelight in 2012 when she had posted her pictures and videos on the internet for her doll like appearance. Her doll like looks complemented her to win the Ukrainian National beauty contest in 2007. Till then, she got media attention and was the term media coined for her was ‘Real life barbie' and ‘Human Barbie doll'. She has a bachelor's degree in architecture and married to Ukrainian businessman Dmitry Shkrabov, her childhood friend. In 2013, a documentary called Space Barbie has been made by Vice Magazine depicting her life, career, spiritual side of hers. In an interview with a magazine, the blonde beauty asserts that if a “beautiful, inspiring young woman starts talking” about spirituality, then “many people will start thinking.” “I use my appearance to promote my spiritual ideas,” she says. “It works perfectly well. That's why I will always use this tool….If a nun starts talking about spirituality, will anyone notice her? No, no one will.” Many media houses have raised brows over her doll like looks whether they are natural or achieved by artificial treatments. A media house claimed her as the product of photoshop. In response to which she appeared on television to defend herself and stated that she had not undergone any surgery except for breast implants.
