Israel-Hamas War HIGHLIGHTS: WFP sends food aid to Egypt for delivery to Gaza

Israel-Hamas War: Palestinian Foreign Minister Riad Malki accused Israel of “intentionally” bombing a hospital in Gaza and said the strip’s residents are being subjected to genocide. He alleged the Israeli military had attacked the same hospital two days earlier and warned doctors there.

Israel-Hamas War: US President Joe Biden, whose Air Force flight took off from Washington on Tuesday, expressed dismay over the killing of over 500 Palestinians and said he is "outraged and deeply saddened by the explosion at the Al Ahli Arab hospital in Gaza, and the terrible loss of life that resulted". Although it was not immediately clear who fired the rocket that led to a catastrophic situation in the hospital, Gaza authorities claimed Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) behind the attack. Meanwhile, IDF has released footage of the airstrike wherein it claimed Gaza Jihadists attacked the ill-fated hospital. On Wednesday, the Israel-Hamas war entered the 11th day, with both sides claiming over 5,000 people were killed in cross-firings.

    The World Food Program says it has tons of aid arriving in Egypt from warehouses around the region, ready to enter Gaza. The Rome-based agency warned earlier Tuesday that stores in Gaza only have four or five days’ worth of essential food stocks available.

    Hezbollah militants killed near Lebanon-Israel border

    A Hezbollah spokesperson says the Lebanese Red Cross has collected the remains of four of the group’s militants. The Hezbollah spokesperson said the bodies belonged to militants who were pronounced dead Tuesday. He did not provide details of how they died. The Lebanese Red Cross had said it was on its way to Lebanon’s tense southern border with Israel to collect the bodies.

    Egypt’s president declares national mourning for victims of Gaza hospital blast

    Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi declared three days of national mourning for those killed in the blast at al-Ahli Hospital and other Palestinians killed in the ongoing Hamas-Israel war. In a statement on social media, El-Sissi blamed Israel for a deadly blast at a Gaza City hospital. The Hamas-led Health Ministry in Gaza says the blast killed hundreds of Palestinian civilians, many of whom were sheltering from Israeli airstrikes at the hospital.

    The director of al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza made an urgent and emotional appeal for an end to the latest Hamas-Israel war after a devastating blast there Tuesday night.

    Israeli airstrike destroys a bakery at a Gaza refugee camp

    Fierce Israeli airstrikes hit houses in Gaza City and the southern border town of Rafah. Near the port, survivors said an Israeli airstrike hit a three-story building belonging to the Haboush family, killing 40 people and wounding 25.
