The Twitter account of the eldest child of former US President Donald Trump, in a bizarre post, claimed that his dad was dead and would not run for the next Presidential elections. Although there were no official comments about who posted the wild claims, a report by The Sun claimed his account had been hacked.
"I'm sad to announce, my father Donald Trump has passed away," read a tweet from Trump Jr.'s official X account, formerly known as Twitter.

Other tweets included references to North Korea, Jeffrey Epstein, and US President Joe Biden. However, within minutes, the series of wild posts disappeared from the timeline.

The strange posts about the former US President prompted immediate reaction and confusion among social media users. In fact, users started speculating that Don Jr.'s account had been compromised. On X, users began trending the term "Hacked" to discuss the situation.

According to reports, the National Pulse's Raheem Kasam first reported the hack. Subsequently, it was later confirmed by Donald Trump Jr.'s team.
Later, the air was cleared as the 45th US President informed about his well-being on his social media platform- Truth Social— almost half an hour after the bizarre posts. However, he did not mention about the posts that went viral claiming his death but it was obvious that he was still alive.
It is worth mentioning America is scheduled to hold the next Presidential elections in 2024 where Trump is seen as the main contender from Republican Party.
