Tejinder Singh seeks cancellation of ex-Army Chief's bail

New Delhi: Lt Gen (retd) Tejinder Singh, who filed a criminal defamation case against V K Singh and others, today moved a Delhi court seeking cancellation of bail granted to the former Army Chief claiming



In his plea filed today, Tejinder said, “the accused number one (V K Singh) has violated the restrain order dated October 3, 2013 imposing conditions upon the accused for continuing the bail granted to the accused.”

“Despite the aforesaid order dated October 3, 2013 passed by this court, the accused (V K Singh) repeated defamatory accusations and remarks against the complainant (Tejinder) on page numbers 308, 309, 310 and 330, 331 and 332 of his autobiography titled as ‘courage and conviction: General V K Singh' a book written by the accused...and released on second week of November 2013,” the plea filed through advocate Anil Aggarwal said.

The court has fixed the plea for hearing on November 28.
