Jaipur, May 10: Postal Department in Rajasthan will offer special discount of 7.5 per cent on gold coins certified by the World Gold Council on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya on May 13.
The Department is offering 7 per cent discount on the coins since April 15 and the scheme will continue till June 30.
“Akshaya Tritiya is an auspicious day and large number of people buy gold on the occasion so we decided to offer 7.5 per cent discount on the coins on this occasion,” Chief Postmaster General (Rajasthan circle) O S Veerwal told reporters here today.
He informed that the coins manufactured by a swiss company are being sold in post offices since 2008 in collaboration with Reliance Money Infrastructure ltd.
