Srinagar, Jul 7: A police officer was injured in a clash with a group of protesters who had blocked Srinagar-Baramulla highway near here to demand airlifting of the body of a local man who died in Andhra Pradesh.

A group of villagers blocked the Srinagar-Baramulla national highway at Soozath-Narbal, 14 kms from here, this morning to press for airlifting of the body of a local resident, Mohammad Ashraf Bhat, who died in Andhra Pradesh recently, a police spokesman said.
