New Delhi: The nine-member team of Special Cell of Delhi Police, which carried out encounter of Manoj Vashishtha, has been moved out of the Special Cell wing of the city police.

The latest development came after family members of Manoj met Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi.

They have also demanded a CBI probe into the shootout and refused to accept the dead body of Manoj until their demand is met.

On Monday night, relatives of Manoj demonstrated outside the hospital where latter's body has been kept and threatened not to perform the last rites until their demand is met.

Manoj was shot in central Delhi's Rajendra Place area on Saturday.

While police claimed that he was wanted in several cases, his family members claimed that the shootout was fake.

Meanwhile, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) was setup on Monday to investigate the killing.
