Know the real Rakibul Hassan alias Ranjit Kohli, love jihad mastermind

New Delhi: Rakibul Hasan alias Ranjit Kohli, the Love Jihad mastermind who forced her wife Tara Sahadeo (national level shooter) to convert to Islam, is reportedly have close contacts with several top level ministers and officers.The truth disclosed after a Special Team of Delhi and Jharkhand Police arrested Ranjit Kohli and his mother Kaushalya Rani alias Kausar Parveen from Sarojni Nagar area on Tuesday night.Tara Sahadeo has alleged that the son-mother duo harassed her and threatened her to push into prostitution if she doesn't accept Islam. Here, a local court in Dwarka has handed over both Ranjit and his mother to the Jharkhand Police on transit remand of three days on Wednesday. Minister ConnectionRanjit Kohli is said to have good relations with two Cabinet Ministers of Jharkhand. First is Minority Welfare Minister Haji Hussain Ansari and second is City Development Minister Suresh Paswan.While talking to media, Ansari has accepted that he knows Rakibul from past one year. He had also invited Rakibul to his house for a supper, where he (Rakibul) said that he has converted to Islam. Whereas Ranjit says that he is Hindu but has been reading “namaaz” from the year 2007.Interestingly, Ranchi Gurudwara Committee has issued a statement saying Ranjit was never spotted in any of the City Gurudwaras. Police ConnectionAs per Tara, several officers of Jharkhand police used to come to Ranjit in civil dress. Ranjit used to refer some officers as IG and DIG. Tara says that Judges also used to come to his place but she could not see them as she was held in captivity. She only recognizes two Cabinet ministers of Jahrakhand- Haji Hussain Ansari and Suresh Paswan.I am HinduWhile answering to the reporters after the court hearing today, Ranjit said that he belongs from the “Hindu” religion. Further, he discarded all the allegations of forced religion conversion of his wife and said that he hails from Sikh religion.Arrest OperationFor arresting Rakibul Hasan alias Ranjit Kohli, SSP and City SP formed a special team of Ranchi police. It consisted of Randhir Kumar (In-charge Sukhdev Nagar Poliec Station), and Sailesh Kumar (In charge Lalpur Police Station).Both the police officers were sent to Delhi along with pictures of mastermind Rakibul Hasan and his mother. Earlier, SSP has requested for assistance from Police Commissioner and Joint Police Commissioner of Delhi.After reaching Delhi, Ranchi police officers met with the Delhi police commissioners. A special team of police officers was thereby formed by the Commissioner. Thereafter, all the officers were deployed in civil uniforms from Airport to Ghaziabad border. Mobile Tracing Ranchi Police said that on Tuesday several news channels talked live with Tara Sahadev during which Tara gave information about 3 mobile numbers of Rakibul Hasan.The news channels dialed the three given numbers, out of which one got connected. While talking to the channels, Rakibul told that he would soon go to Ranchi to surrender himself.During the conversation, police traced the mobile location of Rakibul and nabbed the mother-son duo. After arrest, Rakibul requested the police to call few people, but police denied.Surrender and not ArrestHowever, shooter Tara Sahadev has alleged that Ranjit has not been arrested but he has surrendered himself after destroying all the evidences. She further said that Ranjit plays with law and has contacts with people at top level. He first talked to media and then surrender himself, Tara alleged. Money BagsAccording to Tara, a large number of money bags used to regularly come to Ranjit's house. Ranjit's mother Kaushalya Devi, used to keep those bags and later money was sent outside in small packets.There were three Photostat machines and more than 10 laptops in the flat, Tara said. Moreover, Ranjit also used to carry several I-Pads and big screen phones along with him. He also carries deadly weapons with him, including a pistol, said Tara.ThreateningHe usually threatened Tara by showing pistol and telling that he has contacts with top ministers. Further, he also threatened her that he would send her entire family to jail by planting AK-47 in her father's house.During the raid on Kohli's house, Ranchi police has recovered several vehicles including a Jeep which is only used by the police officers.
