New Delhi: At least 400 trained terrorists are waiting across the border to infiltrate into India and target vital installations across the country, Indian intelligence sources said.

Intelligence Bureau sources revealed,  the terrorists were waiting at launching pads near the Line of Control after getting training in Pakistan.

According to the IB report, this is the ideal season for infiltration and this was the reason why the Pakistani troops are providing them cover fire by indulging in ceasefire violations.

Basically, when Pakistani forces engage Indian troops in firing, the trained terrorists try to sneak inside the Indian territory.

Since April 27, many  infiltration bids have been foiled by Indian Army during which 8 militants were also killed.
