New Delhi: The Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal either does not require/trust his official drivers, or may be unwilling to put burden on the state exchequer, as far as hiring of drivers for his car are concerned.

He has two trusted personal drivers - Rohit Pandey from Geeta Colony and Akshay Malhotra from Punjabi Bagh.

Rohit Pandey, hailing from Mainpuri, UP,  used to study in a polytechnic. More than a year ago, he joined as a volunteer and since then he has been driving Kejriwal's blue coloured Wagon R.

He left his studies midway and says, so long as the anti-corruption movement is not successful, he will not leave Kejriwal's side.

In Rohit's absence, Akshay Malhotra from Punjabi Bagh drives the car. A 21-year-old BCA student, Akshay has been with Kejriwal since the last three and a half years.

Whenever Kejriwal meets me, he enquires about my family, says Malhotra with pride. Akshay is presently in the final year of his BCA studies.

Normally, Kejriwal listens to old Bollywood film songs in his car, but of late, he has stopped listening to music altogether. Songs like, say, Insaan ka insaan se ho bhaichara, yahi paigham hamaara.

His car has FM radio, but no CD player.
