Greater Noida: Three Kashmiri students were allegedly beaten up in Greater Noida for not saying Bharat Mata ki jai and raise anti-Pakistan slogans.

The incident happened on Saturday night in Sector Pi here, where various students of different universities stay in rented apartments.

Reports suggest that six students forcefully entered the room of the Kashmiri students and beat them and made them to shout anti-Pakistan slogans.

Protesting against the incident, several other Kashmiri students sat on a dharna in the society.

On Sunday morning, around 100 Kashmiri students residing in the common hostel protested outside the society with bags packed.

In March, a university in UP had packed off 67 students from Kashmir to their homes for celebrating Pakistan's victory over India in a cricket match.

Days later, on March 8, six students of Sharda University in Greater Noida were expelled from hostel for involvement in a brawl after an India-Pakistan cricket match.
