A prominent Kashmiri businessman escaped a "red zone" in Jammu on Friday. Mushtaq Chaya, the businessman, rushed from the area towards his home at Zakura in Srinagar along with more people in four vehicles. Medical and police teams from Srinagar screened him today and put them under home-quarantine. Meanwhile, Jammu Police has registered a case against Chaya.
Meanwhile, 14 more people have tested positive for the coronavirus in Jammu and Kashmir, taking the number of cases to 328 while the death toll rose to five after a patient died of the disease in Kashmir division. All the fresh cases were reported from Kashmir division of the Union Territory.
