An earthquake of magnitude 2.5 on the Ritcher scale occurred today at 3:47 pm in Palghar, Maharashtra, the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) has informed. So far, no reports of any damage have surfaced, however, all the concerned authorities are monitoring the situation. Magnitude 2.5 is a very light intensity quake and have minimum changes of posing any danger to life and property. More to follow.
