Delhi ranks eighth among CBSE regions, posts 98.31 pass percentage

New Delhi: The National Capital lagged behind other regions in CBSE Class X results declared today, posting a pass percentage of 98.31 per cent as against Thiruvanthapuram region which topped the country with a pass

“Independent” schools were also not far behind as they posted a pass percentage 99.04 per cent followed by government schools which showed a pass percentage of 98.78 per cent.  

However, the pass percentage of all these categories of schools dropped in comparison to last year except for JNV which posted about 2 per cent increase in pass percentage.  Last year, it had registered a pass percentage of 97.40 per cent.

KVs had posted a pass percentage of 99.80 per cent in 2013 while it dropped to 99.58 per cent this year.  Delhi region, however, did not register any “unfair means cases” this year, where overall such cases across the country stood at 10.
