Mumbai, July 18: Angry relatives of 28-year-old Irfan Sheikh on Wednesday evening staged a noisy protest in Nanavati Hospital in Ville Parle here alleging medical negligence.
Irfan Sheikh had been kept on dialysis, but the hospital authorities on Wednesday removed the dialysis machine because of non-payment leading to his death, his father alleged.
Police has sent the body for post-mortem, even as relatives demanded arrest of hospital authorities, said Madhukar Sankhye, ACP, Mumbai Police.
