Bodh Gaya, July 7: Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar, who rushed to the holy Mahabodhi shrine today after the serial blasts, called for handing over the temple's security to CISF (Central Industrial Security Force).




Talking to reporters, Nitish Kumar said, cctv cameras had been placed inside the Mahabodhi temple, and the state police had provided security from outside.


"We will investigate the entire matter. Out additional director general and joint director of IB are here. We will tighten the security", said Kumar.


Describing the Mahabodhi Temple as a holy shrine venerated by millions of people, thechief minister said, NIA would investigate the serial blasts.
