The Trinamool Congress had won 185 seats in 2011 elections for the 294-member West Bengal Assembly and has added a few more to its kitty in by-elections held thereafter.The party has won 34 Lok Sabha seats out of 42 in West Bengal in 2014 Lok Sabha polls.
To mark the occasion, the Government of West Bengal would today confer the state's highest civilian awards - “Bangabibhusan” and “Bangabhusan” to 33 individuals for outstanding contribution in respective fields at a glittering function at the Science City Auditorium here.
