Two Pakistani Rangers were killed today after the Border SEcurity Force (BSF) retaliated to the unprovoked firing from the Pakistani side in Arnia and RS Pura sectors of Jammu and Kashmir.

The BSF destroyed a Pakistani bunker in Sialkot that led to the killing of these two Pakistani Rangers.

"We retaliated effectively which led to damage on that (Pakistan) side. BSF never starts it but when they do, we make sure we take strong action. Martyrdom of Head Constable A Suresh will not go in vain," DG BSF KK Sharma said.

Earlier, a 19-year-old woman and a BSF jawan were killed in Pakistani firing along the International Border (IB) in the state.

The woman has been identified as Neelam Devi and she was killed in Arnia sector of Jammu.

Earlier, one BSF jawan was also killed in the unprovoked firing from Pakistani side which is going on since Thursday night.

Three civilians were also injured in the Pakistani firing.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Jammu Arun Manhas told PTI that BSF troops are giving a befitting reply to the unprovoked firing from the Pakistani side.
