Two Indian soldiers injured as Pakistan violates ceasefire along LoC in Poonch

Pakistan once again violated the ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch last night.

Two Indian soldiers were injured in the unprovoked shelling and firing from the Pakistani side.

 "Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked shelling and firing along the LoC in Poonch," news agency quoted its Defence Ministry sources as saying.

"They used small arms, automatics and mortars. The firing started at 1.30 a.m. The Indian Army retaliated effectively and strongly, the defence sources added.

The injured soldiers were shifted to hospital.
