In a bizarre incident, thieves took away the tyres of former Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Chander Mohan’s Ciaz car from his Sector 8 residence in Panchkula on Thursday.

According to the CCTV footage, six thieves came at 12.22 am in a Scorpio car and a motorcycle. The car was parked on a ramp and they decamped with its tyres and put the car on bricks.

According to the police, the CCTVs cameras were outdated due to which the footage was not clear.

However, the footage shows a black Scorpio stopping in front of the house at around 12.22 am followed by a motorcycle. While three men deboard the car, a youngster can be seen getting down from the bike.

The thieves, who were carrying the bricks along with them, left after removing the tyres in a span of 10 minutes.

Bishnoi was in Hisar to attend a wedding ceremony of his son on December 18. He returned on Wednesday evening at around 10.30 PM when his driver parked the car on a ramp outside his bunglaow.

Further investigations are on.
