Veteran journalist and editor of 'Rising Kashmir' newspaper Shujat Bhukari and his crew were attacked by militants in Srinagar on Thursday.
Bukhari, who was leaving his office in Press Enclave in the city centre Lal Chowk for an iftar party when he was shot at, is in a critical condition, officials said.
He is battling for life in a hospital, they said.
The two policemen who were guarding him are also injured, they added.
