Pakistan troops on Sunday again violated border ceasefire, this time in Naushera sector of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to the reports, Pakistani troops have also used mortar shells along with the firing.

No causalities have been reported so far.

Pakistan has been violating the ceasefire since the Indian Army on September 29 carried out surgical strikes to destroy terror launch pads across the Line of Control in Pakistan-administered Kashmir. The bilateral ceasefire agreement was signed in 2003.

There is a 740 km long LoC in Jammu and Kashmir and 200 km long international border with Pakistan.

The LoC is guarded by the army on both the sides while the Border Security Force (BSF) guards the international border in India and Pakistan Rangers guard it in Pakistan.
