A major mishap was averted after an Air India flight with 134 passengers onboard suffered a tyre burst while landing at the Jammu airport this afternoon. All passengers, however, were evacuated safely.

The Air India flight 821 took off from Delhi’s IGI Airport at 11 am. The flight suffered a tyre burst while landing at the Jammu airport at 12:15 pm and slipped away from the runway.

An airline official said that all the passengers on board were safe.
