So stunning has been the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) showing in the Lok Sabha election 2019 that it bulldozed the opposition even where it had looked strong, virtually sweeping entire states in northern India and even beyond and making unprecedented inroads in Trinamool Congress-ruled West Bengal.

Additionally, there is a long list of upsets too, where prolific leaders have not lived up to their names.
