Jammu and Kashmir: Widow of Lance Naik Sandeep Singh, 2016 Surgical Strike hero, vows to send her son to army

Lance Naik Sandeep Singh attained martyrdom on Tuesday , three days ahead of the second anniversary of 2016 surgical strike, after he succumbed to injuries while taking on Pakistan-backed terrorists at the LoC who were trying to infiltrate into Indian territory.

Showing exemplary courage after the martyrdom of her husband, the widow of 2016 surgical strike hero Lance Naik Sandeep Singh on Tuesday vowed to make her five-year-old son a soldier in coming years.

Lance Naik Sandeep Singh attained martyrdom on Tuesday , three days ahead of the second anniversary of 2016 surgical strike, after he succumbed to injuries while taking on Pakistan-backed terrorists at the LoC who were trying to infiltrate into Indian territory.

However, the brave soldier killed two terrorists before succumbing to his injuries.

The moment the body of the martyr arrived at his Village in Gurdaspur of Punjab, all the residents came out to be part of his funeral procession.

Sandeep Singh’s mother and his widow were also part of the procession.

The widow of the martyr said that she was proud of her husband, adding she would make her son a true patriot and send him to the army.
