Adopting a tough stand over unprovoked shelling from Pakistani side on border, Union Minister of State for Defence Subhash Bhamre today asserted that Indian forces know "what to do" and are "well prepared" to contain any ceasefire violation in Jammu and Kashmir.

"Our forces know what to do. Government is sensitive and our forces are well prepared. They have been giving a befitting reply," the Minister of State for Defence said.

Bhamre’s remarks came after two civilians were killed and seven others were injured in heavy shelling by Pakistani Rangers that continued for the second consecutive day today along the International Border (IB) in Jammu and Samba districts.
