The Delhi Police's Special Cell arrested Group Captain Arun Marwaha for allegedly sharing secret Indian Air Force (IAF) documents after being honey-trapped by two women working for Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

As per reports, Marwaha was in touch with the two women, and had passed on classified information about three new formations - Defence Cyber Agency, Defence Space Agency and a Special Operations Division - to them via WhatsApp and Facebook. Marwaha used to click pictures of classified documents pertaining to combat exercises at the Air Force headquarters and then send them to women working for foreign spy agency.

The arrest comes nearly ten days after the Air Force Intelligence Wing caught the Group Captain red-handed with his smartphone when he entered the headquarters. However, police have not found any evidence of monetary exchange and say that he was passing on classified information in lieu of having sex chats.

Meanwhile, an FIR has also been registered under sections of 3/5/9 of the Official Secrets Act at New Delhi's Lodhi Colony police station.
