Delhi: Youth shot dead near Mayur Vihar in road rage incident after his bike hits car

A youth was shot dead near Mayur Vihar Phase1 Pandav Nagar police station limits after his motorcycle allegedly brushed past a car carrying two people. The incident took place on Sunday night.

The 20-year-old Yogesh had gone to buy stuff when the incident took place. As he was parking his bike, it touched the accused's car. Following this, a heated argument started and soon the two accused opened fire at Yogesh.

The duo fled right after shooting the 20-year-old dead.

The friend of Yogesh, who had accompanied him in his motorcycle and a prime witness said that Yogesh and the men inside the car indulged in a heated argument after his bike hit their car and later they opened fire at Yogesh who had gone to buy a bottle of water.

A case has been registered against the unidentified men. Police are, meanwhile, trying to access footage from the nearby CCTV cameras.
