It was a misty Wednesday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 13.3 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average, the weather office said. "There was mist in the morning. The sky is likely to remain partly cloudy with the maximum temperature likely to hover around 22 degrees Celsius," an India Meteorological Department official said.

Meanwhile, air quality in Delhi further turned severe with a sharp rise in the particulate matter. The concentration of the most prominent pollutants, PM 2.5 and PM 10, dipped to severe category, respectively in Lodhi Road area in Delhi, ANI reported.

The humidity at 8.30 am was recorded at 87 per cent.
