Actor Farhan Akhtar today pointed out a 'glaring error' in West Bengal school text books. According to an image tweeted by Twitter user Lyfe Ghosh, a school textbook in West Bengal has used the image of Farhan Akhtar instead of the sports legend Milkha Singh. Akhtar, who portrayed the role of the Indian athlete in his biopic Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, retweeted the image and requested the West Bengal Education Ministry to recall the and replace the book.

"To the Minister of School Education, West Bengal. There is a glaring error with the image used in one of the school text books to depict Milkha Singh-ji. Could you please request the publisher to recall and replace this book? Sincerely," the actor tweeted while tagging the senior leader in the ruling party Derek O'Brian.

The TMC leader gave a quick response: On it. Thanks for the feedback.

The mistake has however left the Twiterrati shocked. Some are calling it a glaring mistake while others a dark comedy.

Some members of Farhan Akhtar fan club took the mistake as a sign of the actor's talent.
