Bihar: Dacoits rob passengers of New Delhi-Bhagalpur Express train in Lakhisarai

The incident took place between Kajra and Kiul railway stations.

In a daring incident, dacoits robbed passengers of 12350 New Delhi-Bhagalpur Express on Wednesday night in Lakhisarai district of Bihar.

The incident took place between Kajra and Kiul railway stations.

The dacoits targeted passengers of three coaches – one AC coach and two sleeper coaches. They snatched jewellery, mobile sets and cash from the passengers. 

The dacoits also thrashed many passengers after robbing them.

After the robbery incident, the passengers staged protest at Munger’s Abhaypur station.
  
According to the passengers, no security personnel was present in the train right from the time the train departed from New Delhi.

Bihar Police has started probe into the incident.
