Amid tension along the International Border, Indian Army jawans celebrated the festival of lights ‘Diwali’ in RS Pura sector in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.

Earlier on Saturday, the Indian Army carried out massive fire assault across the Line of Control (LoC) and destroyed four Pakistani posts in Keran sector of Kupwara district.

Heavy casualties were inflicted on the Pakistani posts in the operation, a statement by Northern Command, Indian Army said today.

The firing assault comes a day after the Army vowed to avenge the killing of its jawan in Macchil sector of Kupwara district of Kashmir.
