At least 22 people were killed and several others left injured when a bus they were travelling in fell into a gorge in Reasi area of Jammu and Kashmir today.
“22 people have died, injured persons have been taken to nearby hospitals for treatment in ambulances,” J&K minister Ajay Nanda said.
The accident took place when a bus in which they travelling in skidded of the road and fell into a deep gorge, police said.
“Some of the injured persons are in critical conditions. The rescue operation is going on and a police team and the district administration is on the spot," Tahir Sajad Bhat, SSP Reasi said.
