J-K: Terrorist associate arrested in Baramulla, hand grenades and other incriminating materials recovered

Acting on specific input regarding the movement of terrorists in the Ushkara area of Baramulla, a joint checkpoint was established jointly by the police and security forces. At least two hand grenades, cash amounting to Rs 40,000 and other incriminating materials were recovered from his possession.

Jammu and Kashmir Police along with security forces arrested a terrorist associate linked with the proscribed terror outfit LeT/TRF in Baramulla. In addition, they also recovered two hand grenades, cash and other incriminating materials from his possession. He has been identified as Mudasir Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Ushkara in Baramulla. 

Acting on specific input regarding the movement of terrorists in the Ushkara area of Baramulla, a joint checkpoint was established jointly by Baramulla Police, Army (46RR), MI and the CRPF on Tuesday. 

During checking, a suspicious person who was coming towards the checkpoint tried to flee from the spot after noticing the joint party but was apprehended tactfully by the alert party.

At least two hand grenades, cash amounting to Rs 40,000 and other incriminating materials were recovered from his possession. Later, a case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Baramulla Police Station and further investigation has been initiated.
