Why did Rivaba get angry?

'Mari Mati-Maro Desh' program was organized by Jamnagar Municipal Corporation on Lakhota Lake of Jamnagar city. In this, a debate broke out between BJP MLA Rivaba Jadeja and Mayor Binaben Kothari. When the mayor asked Rivaba to talk to her with manners, Rivaba told her to stay “within his limits”.

Meanwhile, when MP Poonam Maadam, who was present there, tried to intervene, Rivaba also told her that this fire was started by her, so do not try to extinguish it.

BJP MLA responds

Later, speaking to the media, Rivaba said, "MP Poonamben Maadam paid tribute to the Bravehearts by wearing slippers and I took off the slippers. She said in a loud voice that even the PM and the President do not remove slippers in such programs but some ignorant people become over-smart. I did not like her comment, so I spoke out of self-respect...Did I make a mistake by taking off my slippers?"
