Ekta Kapoor is all set to make a TV remake of Karan Johar’s iconic film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, which starred Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Jaya Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor. A lot of speculations have been doing rounds on the internet about the star cast of K3G TV remake. Earlier there were reports that Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi actress Erica Fernandez will play Kajol’s role in the TV show.

However, as per the recent reports by Mumbai Mirror, newcomer Yogita Bihani will be playing Anjali’s role in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham TV remake. Talking about it, a source told the leading daily, “Earlier, Erica Fernandes of Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi was being considered for the part but thanks to Yogita’s newfound popularity she will play the part in the show which is titled Dil Hi Toh Hai."

The girl in the video is Yogita, who has been roped in by Balaji’s honcho to play the lead in K3G remake titled Dil Hi Toh Hai.

Ekta Kapoor wrote in a tweet, “A family soap after years !!! Mostly done love stories recently with d backdrop of family!! This soap will air on SONY ...a family that eats together stays together NOOOO a family that accepts each other stays together.”

Ekta Kapoor is also reported to be making a desi version of popular American TV series Game of Thrones. A source told the daily, “Though not an official adaption, the project will have the feel and look of the medieval drama." Another source said, "It will have a heavy dose of sex in it."
