The 3-minute-25-second video song starts with PM Modi's televised address, in which he is seen assuring people that India will come out victorious. 'Muskurayga India' released on April 6 and features stars like Ayushmann, Tiger Shroff, Vicky Kaushal, Kartik Aaryan, Rajkummar Rao, Sidharth Malhotra, Taapsee Pannu, Bhumi Pednekar, Kriti Sanon, Kiara Advani and Ananya Panday.

Bollywood’s latest initiative in the fight against coronavirus is a beautiful music video. MuskurayegaIndia aims to bring back the smile on the face of every Indian amid this pandemic. Actors Akshay Kumar and Jackky Bhagnani have come up with a special initiative to create a sense of positivity in the people of India. The initiative is a new musical anthem 'Muskurayega India' which has almost all of Bollywood come together to mak the country smile. The song that released on April 6 inspires people with a powerful message of hope and brighter future.

The track, created by Jjust Music and Cape of Good Films, opens with a clip of PM Modi’s first televised address to the nation on Covid-19, assuring people of emerging victorious from these trying times. It was released Monday and has already racked up over 10 lakh views on YouTube. The song is meant to be a “melody of hope” amid the ongoing crisis.

Taking to Instagram, Akshay Kumar wrote, "Muskurayega India All we need is a united stand. Aur phir #MuskurayegaIndia! Do share with your family and friends." The song features stars like Ayushmann Khurrana, Tiger Shroff, Vicky Kaushal, Kartik Aaryan, Rajkummar Rao, Sidharth Malhotra, Taapsee Pannu, Bhumi Pednekar, Kriti Sanon, Kiara Advani and Ananya Panday who have shot their portions at homes. The first look of the song which has been made under the banner Cape of Good Films was shared by the Sooryavanshi actor on Twitter as he wrote, "At a time like this when our days are clouded with uncertainty and life has come to a standstill, bringing you a song of hope. #MuskurayegaIndia song out at 6 PM today.@Jjust_Music #CapeOfGoodFilms @VishalMMishra @jackkybhagnani." The song has been crooned and composed by Vishal Mishra and penned by Kaushal Kishore.

Akshay said, "At a time when our days are clouded with uncertainty, and life has come to a standstill, we want people to be certain of one thing — everything will be back to normal and all we need to do is put up a united stand against this pandemic. This song is one step towards doing that."

While Jaccky added, "Akshay sir and I felt the only thing that helps, in times of uncertainty, is hope. The proceeds from this song will go towards supporting the central and state governments' efforts in fighting the virus."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared the video of the song on Twitter on Tuesday and wrote: “India will smile again, India will win again.”

The three minute and 25 second-long song features visuals of hospital beds, doctors, nurses and Mumbai Police officers on-duty. It shows the empty streets and some isolated iconic spots of the country such as Delhi’s India Gate and Jaipur’s Hawa Mahal.

The lyrics of the song are by Kaushal Kishore, with vocals and composition by Vishal Mishra. It includes verses like “Jo saath dede saara India, fir muskurayega India, fir jeet jayega India” (If all of India gives support, then we will smile, then India will win).
