LONDON: Actor Daniel Radcliffe has confirmed that no 'Harry Potter' books will be penned in the future as author J K Rowling was enthralled by his performance in the latest film.

The 21-year-old star, who played the bespectacled hero since the age of 10, said that Rowling was so pleased with his performance in 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows- Part 1' that she has vowed not to write any more books about the boy wizard, Contactmusic reported.

"She felt I had been very good in this film and as a reward for that, she wasn't going to write any more 'Harry Potter' books. I'm sure she will be writing other books. But I can pretty much guarantee that Harry will not be a feature," said Radcliffe.

The actor and his co-stars Rupert Grint and Emma Watson recently said that they wouldn't return to reprise their roles in the wizard franchise in case Rowling planned to extend the series and more movies were made on them.
