New Delhi: The Disney- Marvel superhero drama is showing no sign of slowing down at the box office. The war between Iron Man and Captain America began its international run on April 27 and by Sunday (May 15) earned $940 million (approximately 6278 crores)

Given such a run, it is expected to exceed the $1 billion mark (approximately 6700 crores) by end of this week. Civil war will thus become the sixth superhero title to achieve this benchmark. The other six who have made it to the list are, “The Avengers” ($1.52 billion- 10153 crores), “Avengers: Age of Ultron” ($1.41 billion- 9416 crores), “Iron Man 3” ($1.22 billion- 8148 crores), “The Dark Knight Rises” ($1.09 billion- 7300 crores) and “The Dark Knight” ($1.04 billion- 6945 crores).
